Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Compra Moves ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you visit our website or contact us about our moving and junk removal services. By using our website or submitting a form, you agree to the practices described below.

This policy applies to residents of Tennessee and anyone who interacts with our website or services. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected] or (615) 239-1555.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: directly from you and automatically through your use of our website.

Information you provide to us: When you fill out a contact or quote request form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, and any other details you provide. This information is used to respond to your inquiry and deliver our services.

Information collected automatically: When you visit our website or submit a form, we automatically collect the following technical information:

  • IP Address and related network information (including ASN and AS Organization)
  • Geolocation data derived from your IP address, including country, city, region, postal code, timezone, continent, latitude/longitude (approximate), and other location indicators
  • Device and browser details, including operating system, device type, browser type/version, and user agent string
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, and other usage data

This technical data helps us verify quote submissions, prevent fraud, defend against chargebacks, ensure service availability in your area, and improve our website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and provide services - including preparing quotes, scheduling appointments, and communicating about your job.
  • Fraud prevention and legal protection - We use IP addresses, geolocation data, device information, and submission timestamps to verify the authenticity of quote requests and form submissions. This helps us defend against fraudulent chargebacks, disputes, or other claims.
  • Service delivery and operations - Determining service availability, estimating travel time, and dispatching crews.
  • Website improvement - Using aggregated, anonymized data to analyze traffic and improve user experience.
  • Communications - Sending appointment confirmations, updates, and follow-ups via phone, email, or text.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic functionality.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to track page visits, session duration, traffic sources, and general geographic location (at the city or region level - not your precise address). This data is processed by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Essential cookies. Our website may also use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function. These cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.

Most browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect the performance of certain website features.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business. These providers are permitted to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

SuperMove. We use SuperMove, a moving and service business management platform, to schedule appointments, send job confirmations, and manage customer records. When you book or inquire about a service, your name, contact information, and job details may be stored and processed within SuperMove. SuperMove's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and data processing terms.

Google (Analytics). As described in Section 3, we use Google Analytics for website analytics. Google may process data on servers outside Tennessee or the United States.

We do not use your information with any other third-party platforms for advertising, retargeting, or lead resale purposes.

5. Location Information

When you request a quote or book a service, you provide us with a service address or general location. We use this information solely to determine service availability, estimate travel time, and dispatch our crew to the correct location.

In addition, when you visit our website or submit a form, we automatically collect approximate location information through your IP address (such as country, city, region, and postal code). This data helps us verify quote submissions, prevent fraud, defend against chargebacks, and improve our services. We do not collect your device's precise GPS location.

6. Data Retention

We retain customer information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and defend against potential chargebacks or disputes. This includes contact details, job records, and associated technical data such as IP addresses and device information. Records are typically kept for up to three to seven years depending on the type of data and legal requirements.

Analytics data collected through Google Analytics is retained according to our configured data retention settings within Google Analytics (either 13 or 26 months).

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS, and access to customer records within our business management software is restricted to authorized staff only.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access and correction. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate information, by contacting us at [email protected].

Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information. We will honor deletion requests where we are not required to retain the information for legal or business record-keeping purposes.

Opt-out of communications. You may reply STOP to any text message or contact us directly to be removed from our list.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or (615) 239-1555. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
